We introduce: Our FIBO Ambassador Dr. Anna-Maria Fässler. Hotel industry expert with valuable tips for successful hosts and those who want to become one.
FIBO: How do you keep yourself fit & healthy in everyday life?
Anna-Maria: I love to exercise. I do sports four to five times a week. Twice with a personal trainer, twice I'm in nature and once I'm in the water.

FIBO: What has been your biggest milestone so far?
Anna-Maria: My biggest milestone is that together with my husband, I am still successfully running our Sonnenalp in the fourth generation.
FIBO: What does wellness mean for you?
Anna-Maria: For me, wellness means having time. Having time for myself, me-time! And that I can simply do what I feel like doing. And if it's nothing, then that's good as well.
FIBO: What helps you to relax?
Anna-Maria: Nature! My Number 1 for sure.

FIBO: How do you think the hotel industry will develop? Which topics are in focus?
Anna-Maria: The more digitalised we and the world become, the more empathetic we have to be as hosts. That is the very big focus. We have to pick people up when they come to us. When they check in with us, we have to make them feel at home, relaxed and comfortable.
FIBO: You were at FIBO for the first time in 2023. How did you like it?
Anna-Maria: Yes, it was my first time at FIBO and I would not have imagined it like this. FIBO is very lively, with new momentum and has absolute potential to expand the health theme even further.
FIBO: Who would you like to meet in person and why?
Anna-Maria: Michelle Obama - because she is an impressive woman for me and a great role model. And Judith Williams - because she is so refreshing as an entrepreneur.
